Afrikiko River resort hotel Akosumbo Ghana is located about an hour and a half drive from the capital city of Ghana, Accra on the banks of the River Volta.
The Resort has a 3-Wing setup. We have chalets with individual balconies facing the river, the courtyard rooms and the pool-side rooms built in an exotic tropical garden.
We do Conferences, Retreats, Exchange of Wedding Vows, Honeymoons, BBQ and a host of other social events. You can visit the Hydrodam by boat, drive to the Wli water falls, Tafi-Atome monkey sanctuary, the Beads factory among others.
River Cruising is our speciality and you may have Breakfast or Lunch on board and it seats a maximum of 15 people.
Our guests may visit the famous Hydro-Electric dam with its man-made lake at akosombo about 10 minutes by road or by boat but the kpong Hydro- Electric Dam is about 45 minutes drive. You could also do daily trips to the Tafi-Atome monkey sanctuary, the water Falls at Wli, the local Beads making workshop and the beads markert.
