OVERVIEW

Whether it’s a family vacation or a romantic weekend getaway, Freedom Hotel offers a myriad of leisure destinations and possibilities from the Wli Waterfalls, about 20 km from Hohoe to Tsatsadu Falls at Alavanyo.

Freedom Hotel was established in September 1994 as a private enterprise with a capacity of 10 rooms, a restaurant and a bar. After fifteen years of operation, our rooms have been increased to 80 (comprising of Chalets and Executive Rooms), 3 Bars, 2 Restaurants, 3 Conference halls, a pool and a Business Centre. The hotel is situated on the main Ho – Nyive road not far from Ho Police Training Depot. Approximately 5 minutes drive from the Ho central market.

Our hotel provides an array of on-site dining, shopping and entertainment options to choose from as well as a swimming pool. We are conveniently situated in the centre of town, with close proximity to other centers and popular attractions. Because we are managed by one private owner, meeting planners can count on a consistency of excellent service, customer devotion, award-winning dining venues and meeting facilities at Freedom Hotel. Meetings and Conventions are our specialty. Our meeting facilities, flexible indoor and scenic outdoor parties, exhibit, and preconvene spaces offer versatility for any occassion. Group events are supported by our convention service managers and meeting staff, full-service catering, banquet and audio visual departments.

CONFERENCE FACILITIES

The Hotel has 3 conference halls namely AKORFA, FREEDOM and MAWULI HALL. AKORFA Hall is air-conditioned and has sitting capacity of 100. The Mawuli Hall is well ventilated with fans and has a sitting capacity of 400 with separate pantry and wash rooms. Freedom Hall has a sitting capacity of 150.

RESTAURANTS & BARS

There are two restaurants, Lebene and Mawuli to cater for lodgers as well as conferences, that means, two conferences can be held concurrently, and the restaurants can still provide for both.  We have a roof-top bar to cater for our guest’s relaxation and cocktail bar to serve the numerous summer-huts and cater for room service.
